There are so many friends at the Barge that make the place so very special. One such friend is our resident magician Mark Peace. Mark is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians as well as the Magic Circle. He is can be booked for parties, weddings, corporate events and festivals. He is a regular at the Barge so look at the events diary to check his next booked show.
Mark will mystify you with his memorable and mindblowing magic. He uses coins, cards and many items he ‘borrows from his audiences!
Mark has worked with Derren Brown and Paul Zennon and performs throughout the South West London and the country
The Barge Inn has a certain MAGIC but Mark really adds to that!!

We thought of asking you how did some of those tricks, but knew you wouldn’t divulge your innermost secrets – so didn’t bother. There is a rumour that you are doing a couple more evenings in Jan and Feb – COUNT US IN!

I’ve been there twice and met you at the end of my holidays this summer at the Barge (area). It was a a great pleasure and mindblowing! I still got problems with the thing you did with my ring; can’t be done mate! As well as what you did with the playcards and my son Ziko…! Seen this man perform a few times and there is nobody doing this sort of thuff out there ….. nobody!
The reactions are always the same! Complete confusion and a desperate need to know how …. His magic will leaves you with alot of questions and a huge smile on your face. My son still asks me every day “when are we going to see magic Daddy?” and that was from a year ago. Truly awesome!!

Saw Mark performing his wizardry by the canal outside the Barge Inn. Just entertaining a few people, but the stuff he did was,.. well, Magic. He performs amazing close up magic, and surrounded by people with none of this “Stand over there” nonsense. My flabber has never been more gasted, and I know that one day I’ll be telling people how I saw him before he was famous. Thanks Derren and Manda.

I saw Mark for the first time on 10 November. What a night – I will seriously never forget it! For the inexplicable to be happening right before your eyes is an awesome experience. Can’t wait for the next time….
