ANOTHER MAGICAL FIRST
“Yet another ‘first’ at The Barge Inn at Honeystreet. We held recently a ‘Magic Night’ at which our resident magician (and member of the Magic Circle), Mark Peace moved amongst 30 or so diners and gave each table its own personal show of magic tricks and sleight of hand. The diners (in parties of two to eight) had paid £25 a ticket for a magnificent ‘Carl Games’ three course meal, and were treated to two sessions each of Mark’s amazing repertoire. At the end of the evening, which lasted nearly four hours, the deafening applause was surely sufficient evidence that this ‘Magic Night’ would be repeated in January and February, 2012″
